That is fuckn cool. Just the point that you painted it makes it legendary! Nicely done man!

Thanks :)

They're the first paintings I've ever done.

Yeah- nice work. Very zen-like, but w/ a more contemporary twist:) You should do some more and see what happens.

I tried to take the vector art style and apply it to painting
:icononelifeoneart:
I can def. see that. It served you well in this case. Did you enjoy painting it at all?

it was actually pretty relaxing, more so b/c it wasn't mandatory for one of my classes.

it'll be a fun hobby

Those were always my favorite pieces. What're you in school for?

Majoring in Art with a concentration in animation
highly interested with graphic design though
:icononelifeoneart:
sounds pretty cool....I started w/ graphic design but switched to painting/sculpture pretty quickly once I realized how formal & tedious g.d. could be. Animation coupled w/ g.d. sounds like a good combo, though. I'm sure in the not-too-distant future, most ads and forms of visual communication will be through digital formats. Check out:

The one you're looking for is "The Future of Media." It's fiction, but very interesting nonetheless.
